Bullet's Test Results

First of all, a little off the title. Me and Trent ran all over town today and after getting home, I looked up and saw then moon. It was still light outside so I thought it was more interesting with the light blue background instead of black.

Today, me and Trent went to turn our stuff in for taxes and wow. We really wish we had went to this person last year. This person had previously worked with the IRS so she really knows her stuff. There are so many things that we can file that we just didn't know about. Just one example is filing for Trent's hair cuts. That counts since he has to keep it cut for work being a cop. Interesting huh? The lady was blown away that last year we paid so much just to file and this year she said at most it should only be around $50 and also found out that the people last year totally screwed us over majorly. Oh well you live and you learn right. This lady stays so busy since she is so good so it is going to take approx 2 weeks before we find anything out but we are curious to see what we get this year.

Now on to the title of this Blog. Today we got the skin test results back from last week when Bullet had his tumor cut off his ear. He has Seborrheic Dermatitis which in a nutshell is a chronic lifelong skin condition he will always have to live with. We have been reading a little on it today and have found out that this is apparently something that is common in labs and the underlying factor is usually and most commonly allergies. Go figure, we have known he has had allergies since we had him. The only thing we can do is try to give him baths once a week during non break out times and 2 times a week during break out times which basically means it will be 2 times a week. Unfortunately he is always broke out bless his heart. Of course, we are going to do whatever we have to do but the Shampoo we have to buy for him is an 8oz bottle and cost $18. You shampoo him, rinse him off, shampoo again and lather it up and let it sit there for 5 to 10 minutes. It apparently has some type of protective barrier that then sits on the skin and keeps the oils and greases off the skin which is what irritates and causes this specific type of dermatitis.

We bought a shower head thing that has the 6ft hose and a hair catcher thing so it definitely is going to help us bathe him ourselves much easier. Here he was waiting his 10 minutes and he was being such a good boy. He stood up and acted like he wanted to get out so we told him to stay and sit and well, that is what he done. He is our Problem child but he is such a GOOD BOY!!! It does amaze me how good he is and how he does listen.

Daddy got him out of the bathtub and bundled him up and he was just TOO darn cute.

Daddy loves his little baby. Ok, ok, big baby. Bullet laid there and almost fell asleep in Trent's arms.
Before we came home and gave him a bath, me and Bullet took daddy to drop his patrol off to get the oil changed. He LOVES going on rides with mommy. I was taking the picture from the side mirror but he loves hanging his head out the window and feeling the wind against his face.

Even though, he is a problem child, we Love him to death. I never ever imagined I would have such a spoiled rotten, loved dog. He is worth every last penny we have spent on him and he has definitely been more expensive then we had ever imagined.
I reckon that is all, I just wanted to update everyone on the baby.

Series of Unfortunate Events!!!

Wow is about all I can say. Me and Trent have been ran through the ringer lately.

It starts off that I bought a new charger on Ebay for our computer cause our other one quit working. I used the new one for all of 4 days until Monday night it blew out a huge puff of smoke and I went running to the sink with it in case it caught on fire so I could drowned it. Immediately when the smoke puffed out, my computer shut off and would not come back on. I took it to someone to look at and well it was pretty obvious but it fried the computer. Luckily my hard drive is still good so we were able to get our information on it. I now have a email sent out to the person I got the charger from so we will see what kind of response I get from him.

On Wednesday, we went to get a new laptop and was successful finding one. We went to eat at TGI Fridays in Cool Springs afterwards. All I can say is if you go there, I think our waiters name was Jeremy so make sure he doesn't wait on you. For 1, he was absolutely horrible and for 2, he gave some other couple Trent's debit card and didn't even know what he done with it. The other couple had it for a good 5 minutes before the dude realized where he had put it. How the heck were we supposed to know if they wrote down all of our information off the card? Therefore we had to immediately call and cancel his card just in case. Then of all things, on our way home, our car died on us. Our gas light had not come on and it was not quiet empty but we put gas in it after it dying 3 times and it has not died since. The check engine light is still on though so I guess we will have to get that looked at.

We get home and I am trying to download our CD for the Verizon Internet USB and it wouldn't work. Oh great just our luck right? Of course, what did it do fry our Verizon Internet too? Well the downside to that would be that we would have to pay for a new one and then Verizon would switch us from Unlimited to Limited which I hear is very easy to go over on. I went to Verizon today and took the laptop, the Verizon CD and the USB Internet stick. Luckily the CD just did not work with Windows 7 and they downloaded a better one off of a jump drive and wa la, our Internet USB thing started working again. THANK GOD. I guess our luck is turning around for the better.

Trent says our bad events are turning to good events. We sure hope so. We hope much more good will come to follow. Maybe we will find that out in a couple of weeks if ya know what we mean. lol.

Also on Monday, Bullet had surgery on Monday to have a non cancerous tumor cut off of his ear and while they were at it, they took 5 punches of skin to send off for biopsy to see if we can find out more on the cause of his skin conditions. We have tested for mites, mange, allergies, and thyroid. The thyroid came back low normal and we put him on thyroid medicine however that did not help at all. Hopefully with the skin punches we can get some better information. Bullet at one time weighed 104.9 and he is now down to 99.4. His diet is slowly but surely working. We really can't tell much but hey as long as it works, we will keep it up. I feel so bad for the poor dog though cause he acts as if he is starving to death. Big beast. lol.

On the other hand, other than this week, life has been wonderful in the Haddock's life. It really sad but all we can do is laugh about it. What else can you do cry? It won't do you any good so you might as well laugh. I am so lucky and so grateful to have such a Wonderful husband in my life that we can just laugh things off when it seems everything is going wrong.

All we can say is we can NOT wait for our cruise. My countdown started last week and after the week I had this week the countdown is REALLY ON!!!

2 year anniversary cruise in May = 72 days
Fun get away cruise with mom and Kate = 106 days
BRING IT ON!!!

I hope everything is going well for everyone else.
