Bullet's Test Results

First of all, a little off the title. Me and Trent ran all over town today and after getting home, I looked up and saw then moon. It was still light outside so I thought it was more interesting with the light blue background instead of black.

Today, me and Trent went to turn our stuff in for taxes and wow. We really wish we had went to this person last year. This person had previously worked with the IRS so she really knows her stuff. There are so many things that we can file that we just didn't know about. Just one example is filing for Trent's hair cuts. That counts since he has to keep it cut for work being a cop. Interesting huh? The lady was blown away that last year we paid so much just to file and this year she said at most it should only be around $50 and also found out that the people last year totally screwed us over majorly. Oh well you live and you learn right. This lady stays so busy since she is so good so it is going to take approx 2 weeks before we find anything out but we are curious to see what we get this year.

Now on to the title of this Blog. Today we got the skin test results back from last week when Bullet had his tumor cut off his ear. He has Seborrheic Dermatitis which in a nutshell is a chronic lifelong skin condition he will always have to live with. We have been reading a little on it today and have found out that this is apparently something that is common in labs and the underlying factor is usually and most commonly allergies. Go figure, we have known he has had allergies since we had him. The only thing we can do is try to give him baths once a week during non break out times and 2 times a week during break out times which basically means it will be 2 times a week. Unfortunately he is always broke out bless his heart. Of course, we are going to do whatever we have to do but the Shampoo we have to buy for him is an 8oz bottle and cost $18. You shampoo him, rinse him off, shampoo again and lather it up and let it sit there for 5 to 10 minutes. It apparently has some type of protective barrier that then sits on the skin and keeps the oils and greases off the skin which is what irritates and causes this specific type of dermatitis.

We bought a shower head thing that has the 6ft hose and a hair catcher thing so it definitely is going to help us bathe him ourselves much easier. Here he was waiting his 10 minutes and he was being such a good boy. He stood up and acted like he wanted to get out so we told him to stay and sit and well, that is what he done. He is our Problem child but he is such a GOOD BOY!!! It does amaze me how good he is and how he does listen.

Daddy got him out of the bathtub and bundled him up and he was just TOO darn cute.

Daddy loves his little baby. Ok, ok, big baby. Bullet laid there and almost fell asleep in Trent's arms.
Before we came home and gave him a bath, me and Bullet took daddy to drop his patrol off to get the oil changed. He LOVES going on rides with mommy. I was taking the picture from the side mirror but he loves hanging his head out the window and feeling the wind against his face.

Even though, he is a problem child, we Love him to death. I never ever imagined I would have such a spoiled rotten, loved dog. He is worth every last penny we have spent on him and he has definitely been more expensive then we had ever imagined.
I reckon that is all, I just wanted to update everyone on the baby.
