Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas and got much more than what we deserved. We spent Christmas Eve with my family and then went back home to spend Christmas Day with Trent's family. Unfortunately on Christmas Day, Trent got sick yet again. He had that same cruddy stomach virus he got 2 months ago. Bless his Heart, atleast it did not last so long this time. Anywho here are a few pictures.

These 2 babies Jalie andd Brynlee were being my baby girls on Christmas Eve. They were hanging on me like 2 little leeches. Can't see poor Jaylie much.

These babies are just Gorgeous and look just alike. Jalie is 4 (will be 5 in January) and Brynlee is 2
Me and My most Wonderful hubby on Christmas Day.

For Trent's birthday, his parents got him/us this entertainment center and I got him surround sound.

Anywho, Trent has re cooperated and doing much better thank goodness and we should be getting his blood work results back this week from his thyroid and kidney that was drawn last week.
Bullet on the other hand we found out yesterday does in deed have a Thyroid problem and is now on daily thyroid pills. God love our little problem child.
and Last but not least. I am doing great. No complaints from me.
Hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas and has a Wonderful New Year.

Health Update on the 3 of us!!!

K so the best of the news first. Monday I went to the Doctor and got released from my back strain. Everything appears to be good with it now.

Now the iffy news.

We took Bullet to the vet last week to get a cortisone shot. Basically to make a long story short we used to think the shots did not work but we were getting desparate due to the constant scratching and him going bald. The vet seen him and then proceded to tell us he thinks Bullet either has a food allergy or a thyroid problem. We have now had him on a new food for 5 days and it is not getting better therefore we will be taking him back at the beginning of the year and testing him for a Thyriod problem.

Yesterday Trent followed up with with Dr. Khim his urologist with the kidney stones. There was no blood or infection in the urine therefore the kidnes stones are gone. Yippee Wonderful Christmas present to him. The only problem is, 1/3 of the stone we sent off for testing was made of Calcium Phosphate which can be a sign of either Kidney or Thyriod problems. The doctor said it is pretty unlikely since only 1/3 of the stone came back with the Calcium phosphate but he did want to be on the safe side and test anyways. We drew some blood the other day and we should have those back at some point next week.

That is about all that is going on these days with us.

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!

It's Christmas Time

WARNING: This blog is full of almost nothing but pictures.
We changed our main tree up this year and did not make it a police tree. It is royal blue and silver and it was very pretty. However, my wonderful mother in law came over and made it Beautiful. We also bought a small 4 foot tree and made it a police tree so we have 2 in our house now. Pictures do it no justice but here they are.
Yes, Trent laughed at me but I just had to have my wrapping paper to match they tree this year.

Here is an up close picture. We have big ribbon, beads, ball ornaments, and very shiny things stuck in there that just stick out. I love it.

Now on to the Police tree.

It has the same blue and silver with ribbon theme however the only thing on it is Police ornaments.

We have not had a picture of Bullet in a while so here is some of him by the different trees.

In the next one, he was standing to the side of Trent's Police tree and I think he was trying to show Santa that he had been a good boy and learned new tricks this year.

I just love how he holds his treat on his nose until we tell him to get it. He really is such a great dog.

Me mom and Amber went shopping a couple of weekends ago and Colton went with us. I just love that kid to death. He is such a sweet sweet kid.

He wanted a picture with the reindeer.

Anywho, I think we are finally starting to slow down a little bit. Here just a few things going on with us.

  • As of tomorrow Trent will be 10 weeks dip free. I am so very proud of him. I know I never thought he would quit and honestly he always claimed he would but I don't think he even thought he ever would especially not cold turkey but he did.
  • I have said for a while now as soon as I got everyone around me healthy that I would end up sick. A few people said as soon as everyone was healthy I would be preggo. Nope that not the case yet but the case is that I have now hurt myself. I was at work the other night and tried helping a patient that was pretty much helpless and I strained a few different places in my back. I had to file workers comp and see the doctor and I had been put on low restrictions which I follow back up with the doctor on Monday to probably have those lifted. I am doing fine it is sore of course but it is tolerable and the medicine definitely helps. I really have not been taking the muscle relaxer they gave me but the Ibuprofen 800 really seems to be doing the trick well enough.
  • Trent last doctors appointment was almost 3 weeks ago and he still had blood in his urine (but not as much as it had been) and a little sore at times however the doctor just associated it with the healing process of both procedures being done on that one side so close to each other. We go back on Wednesday to see what the progress is now. Doctor says by then all blood should be out of the urine. If there is no blood, that just proves that it was healing process however if there is still blood, we get to search for more kidney stones. Since his last appointment he has not complained of being sore, stiff or anything so my thoughts is it was just healing and we are good to go. I hope that is the case at least.

Anyways, I reckon that is all for now. I hope everyone has a Wonderful Christmas.

Bullets new trick

We love seeing Bullet do new things. Last night Trent called me at work and said he had a surprise for me. He sent me a video and we just had Bullet to do it again. We just love our little Boo, he is so Smart.

Just wanted to show everybody his new trick.

STONEY, STONEY, BE GONEY???

Today we went for Trent's Ureteroscopy. Before the procedure we got an xray and the stone was still in the exact spot of course. No surprise. Dr. Khim said he thought he was going to get in there and it be rock hard solid. Also he has 2 more spots that are going to have to be monitored closely. 1 still in the right kidney and today something else showed up in a different spot than the previous stone on the left side. The doctor said it may not be in the kidney, it may just be shadowing from something in his intestines but we will watch it closely for a possible kidney stone. Anyways, after the procedure Dr. Khim said "well something very crazy happened while I was in there". Apparently the lithotripsy somewhat worked but not totally. He said when he got in there, the stone was all compacted into 1 still lodged in that same spot but when he hit it with the scope, it crumbled into tons of little pieces. Since it crumbled into so many pieces, he did not have to do as much as what he thought he was going to have to do therefore, he did not have to place the stent he originally told us he was going to do. He also said since the stent did not have to be placed, Trent should recover much quicker. Needless to say, Trent was more than happy not to have the stent. Not long after we got home, Trent was in some pretty Severe horrendous pain around the front side near his groin. Sounds as if the stones were moving on through the tract cause the pain he was having he said was the pain he normally has when passing stones. Right now he is a little sore but not as bad as a little earlier. Before leaving, Dr. Khim said "have fun on your trip". Dr did not think it would be a problem for us to go and said Trent should be feeling pretty good. As of now, we plan on leaving out tomorrow sometime to go to Gatlinburg. Hallelujah thank God. We needed to get away so bad.

Anywho, I think and hope this will be the last kidney stone update. We follow up with him on December 1st but hopefully everything will go good then.

And the Kidney Stone Journey continues......

So, I dont think this madness will ever end. We went back to Dr. Khim today to get the progress on the Lithotripsy from last week and follow up from Friday's ER visit. Good news and Bad news!!!

GOOD NEWS: He had such severe pain on Friday in his left side and he could not even stand so we went to the ER. According to the xray taken today, he PASSED the stone that was in his LEFT kidney. So that one is now gone and we no longer have to worry about it.

BAD NEWS: The one that was in his right Ureter which is the one they done the Lithotripsy on is still there. It is still lodged in the exact same spot that it has been in for 4 weeks now. The Lithotripsy did help somewhat due to it knocking fragments off the stone and making it smaller however even though it is smaller it is still not moving.

We now go in on Friday to have the Ureteroscopy done where they actually go in with the basket to remove it. Depending on the size, they still may have to use lasar and bust it up some before grabbing it. He will also have a stent placed after the procedure for a few days.

We were supposed to go to Gatlinburg on Saturday however I think that may be a no go. Trent is very persistant on still going due to this being the 2nd Gatlinburg trip it may cancel but I just done think it would be very wise to go so far right after the procedure.

Anyways, I reckon that is going on these days but thought I would update everyone.

When will all this insanity / maddness ever end?

So figured I would give a quick update since Trent's Lithotripsy. He had 1 stone in left kidney, 1 stone in the right kidney, and 1 in the right uretur. They do not cause any problems while in the kidney therefore during the Lithotripsy they targeted only the right ureter stone as hard as they could. Today Trent woke up with SEVERE PAIN in his LEFT SIDE and BLOOD in his URINE. 2 things bad about this. 1) Pain on left side and not right 2) doctor said should see blood in urine for 24 hours after procedure than it should pretty much stop and if it starts back to where you can actually see it, to call him immediately. We called Dr. Khim office the Urologist and he was not in today due to him being in surgeries all day therefore they told us to go to the ER. We kinda feel like the ER was a lost cause however we did find out there is high amounts of blood in the urine and they done a xray and some blood work to check for infectoin and also gave him pain meds and fluids via IV. Anyways, the ER doctor could not tell much by the xray however said their was definately blood in the urine with no kidney infections and the Urologist would be able to take a better look at the xray on Wednesday when he follows up with Trent then. Said Dr. Khim the urologist would be able to see it better and more clear than he would since the Urologist is used to looking at stones on an xray. We are thinking the pain on the left side is due to the stone in the LEFT KIDNEY coming loose and he is actually trying to pass yet ANOTHER STONE. I just feel so bad for him but really there is not much we can do until following up with Dr. Khim on Wednesday. We are just wondering when everything is gonna slow down and he is gonna start feeling better. Trent did get approved off of work as long as noone on his shift gets sick so we are supposed to be leaving for Gatlinburg next Saturday. Hopefully we can get him fully recovered and actully get to go. We need to go the land of FAR FAR AWAY for a while.

Lithotripsy

Just a little update on Trent procedure from Monday. Before the procedure started the doctor took a look at the stone and said that it was still in the exact same spot as it was from the first week therefore it has not budged in 3 weeks and still just lodged in there. He also said before the procedure that it appeared to be 5mm to 6mm when before they were saying 4mm to 5mm. Dr. said everything went well during the procedure and he hit it right on the stone as hard as he could but unfortunately he could not tell any difference from before he started to after. He said that was not unusual however with Trent's stuck where it was he was keeping his fingers crossed and hoping everything went well but unsure. We will go back on Wednesday to follow up and get another xray and reevaluate it to see if it done it's job. He had the procedure on Monday and Tuesday morning at about 1am he started noticing very small pieces as small as sand in his strainer. There has only been about 10 very very small pieces and he has not had anything since about 2pm on Tuesday but we are hoping that is a good sign that it worked. We are just waiting around for the bigger pieces to come on out so we will know. Guess we will see on Wednesday.

Anywho, as long as things go the way they are expected, we will be heading to Gatlinburg next weekend. Hopefully we will get good news to where we can actually go this time.

Other than Trent, not much new is going on . We haven't had time for anything different.

Just wanted to post a few pictures of my work of art (cross stitching) in progress. It is taking a while however it isn't taking as long as what I thought it would only being my second one. I had done one several years ago and one night I had a patient that was cross stitching and made me want to do it again. I looked and looked and could not find one for me however found one that matches my mom kitchen perfect.
This was my first cross stitching ever. I made it for Trent right after he got out of the academy.
This is a picture of what my current project should look like when finished.
And this is my progress on it. This was the last picture I took of it. I have gotten a little more than this done but not much at all.

Hope everyone else is doing fantastic.

More news on Kidney Stones!

Today we went back to the Urologist Dr. Khim and they took another x-ray and the stone has not even budged 1 inch since last week. With the spot that the stone is lodged at, the doctor is first going to try Shockwave Lithotripsy which means he will be totally knocked out with full General Anesthesia. Unfortunately the Lithotripsy is only approx 80% to 85% effective. Dr. Khim was shocked that it had not moved at all and said that it was lodged in a very awkward spot. Usually if they get lodged, it is right about the blood vessels and veins or right at the bladder however Trent's is lodged near the top of the ureter and if they do the original plan of the Ureteroscopy, it is liable to push the stone back up into the kidney which we do not want nor need to happen and it will be more difficult since it is so high up. If the Lithotripsy fails since it is only 80% - 85% effective, they will then have to do the Ureteroscopy and take those chances. Anyways, his Lithotripsy is scheduled for Monday and we done his Pre surgery stuff today. He will have to be out of work for a few days afterwards due to being sore from the shock waves and from the little pieces of the busted up stones actually passing. I am sure everything will be fine but keep him in your prayers that this actually works and we don't have to continue with further treatment.

Sickness

As the most of you know, Trent has been very sick this week. On Saturday and Sunday, he had noticed a slight decrease in appetite but not feeling sick. On Monday morning around 5:45 he told me he felt like his stomach was stuffed as if he had just finished eating a big meal however it had been about 9 hours since he had ate. We laid down in the bed at 6 and immediately when we laid down, he jumped up and ran to the bathroom. From that point on he had severe diarrhea with nausea and vomiting. Around 8:30 he came to me and told me he had to go to the doctor he was too sick to sit around and wait it out. To make a long story short, we called around to several doctors that we have heard are great due to not liking his family doctor. We luckily got him into Dr. Dobias which is very familiar with Trent's family history of cancer and has actually diagnosed his Uncle and cousin with Renal Cell Carcinoma and his Aunt with Colon Cancer. We were very shocked that we got in within an hour of calling due to the fact that Trent was a new patient. Once we saw him, he said he was not totally ruling out food poisoning however he thought it was just a very bad stomach virus that if he was not better by Wednesday to come back in. Needless to say, we returned to him on Wednesday morning. He was still thinking it was a extremely severe stomach virus and at that point he said he had not seen not 1 person come in with a virus that was as severe as Trent's however with all the symptoms, he than decided to run some blood work, stool culture, and do an ultrasound of his stomach. The ultra sound was gonna be scheduled for the next day however was never done due to having to go to another doctor recommended by Dobias. We then left the office and turned in his prescription and was getting some more soup for his bland diet. While in Kroger's he was literally doubled up over the cart and he went to sit in the car while I paid. When we left Kroger, we immediately went back to Dr. Dobias office and they took us straight back. Dr. did not realize how much pain Trent was actually in and at this point Trent said I WOULD RATHER HAVE KIDNEY STONES AGAIN THAN TO HAVE THIS PAIN. IT IS A CLOSE TOSS UP. Dr. Dobias then was going to admit him and finally came to the decision to send him to a GI doctor. We left the office and went straight to the GI doctor, Dr. Choksi. Dr. Choksi of course ended up doing a rectal exam and there was some blood in his stool therefore he went ahead and scheduled him immediately for a Colonoscopy for today. Trent was miserable while drinking the laxative however he made it. lol. He had the test this morning and everything came back perfectly normal and healthy with his colon however Dr. Choski said that he does also have blood in his urine and HE HAS A KIDNEY STONE. I guess Trent has learned his lesson and he will never wish something on himself again. lol. Trent will now meet with Dr. Kihm a Urologist on Monday morning. As of right now, Trent is not hurting. We are unsure if he has passed the stone or if it is just sitting still for now and not moving. We are hoping and praying he has passed it though.

We absolutely love the new doctors Trent has been with this week and I have actually bought Thank you cards to send them because of how awesome and amazing them and there staff has been for us. I am extremely cautious when it comes to doctors but the both of these doctors are extremely thorough and does not act rushed. They will give you there total and undivided attention. I am sure since Dr Choksi recommended him, he will be great but I hope we love Dr. Kihm (Urologist) as much as we have loved the other two.

We will keep everyone updated with everything as we find out more. Hopefully everything will go fine on Monday.

Also another great thing. Trent finished his last dip on Friday and has not touched any since Saturday. He has been too sick to think of it but he said it has not even crossed his mind. Please everyone keep him in your prayers that he can stay away from such a bad habit. He is doing great for now.

Thank you so much for all of your Prayers. They were much needed and much answered in many ways.

Weekend fun and more

This weekend me and Trent was supposed to go to Manchester and it was pouring rain on Saturday morning so we had just decided to stay home. Since we didnt go, Mom, Amber, Colton, and Kate all came to see us. It was such a great weekend with everyone here and we done so much fun stuff with little Colty while they were here. First off we ate some Yummy chili my wonderful hubby cooked for us while I slept since I had just gotten off work. Colty played the playstation for a while and then they fun began. Trent rode the 4 wheeler with Colton, took him for a ride in the police car, and then we had a fire in our outdoor firepit and roasted marshmellows and hotdogs. Colton also wanted to tell ghost stories while sitting by the fire. He is such a little character. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Colton was so excited to get to ride in the police car. He usually doesnt seem to like his pictures taken but he sure seemed to pose for me this weekend.

First thing he done when he jumped in the car was grabbed the hat.

Trent had just turned on the blue lights and the sirens.

He was so amused by everything. He found the radar and just thought it was so neat that you could tell when people were speeding.

Amber will probably die when she sees that I posted this but when Trent and Colton got back from their neighborhood ride he jumped out of the car arrested Amber and threw her in the back seat.

They also went on a 4 wheeler ride around the yard. Sorry not so good pictures. I have to get a new camera taht will take good night time pictures. Anyways. Colty was throwing up the peace sign here.

I used a different camera mode and got this picture. I just love it for some reason. They were done riding so Trent took the helmet off of Colton and it looks like he thought Trent was crazy for wearing the helmet like this.

We roasted marshmellows and hot dogs in our outdoor firepit and Colton waas playing with the cover like it was a shield. That is why he is so filthy and black here.

Once Trent and Colton got back from riding in the cop car, Trent let Colton play on the PA system. These videos are cute.

I had been tyring to post videos and it wouldnt let me but since it is now here is one of Bullet. Like I said in the last post, he does just about anything. He has learned to lay on the floor and let us put a treat on his paw and leave it till we say get it. He is such a good boy. Now if we could just teach him not to jump it would be perfect.

Sorry the video is a little blurry and dark, it is from a cell phone.

Things in the Haddock world are still great. Just working hard and staying very busy. As far as my job update as I posted in the last blog, looks like everything is great. Ended up being that a new job did not have to get approved it just had to get approved that I am charge person on nights which means that I will get charge pay which = a good raise. At some point this week they will be coming up with what they want to call the position. The new title and new pay should start atleast by next week however we are thinking it could start as soon as tomorrow night.

I reckon that is all for now. Just thought I would give quick update on last post and some pictures from this weekend.

Busy, Busy

Wow it has been forever since we have posted a new blog. We have both been super busy. Seems like things will never slow down.

Trent is doing great. Nothing new with him. Just the same ol' same ol' crazy po po atmosphere. Lol.

Me on the other hand, Great I am but extremely busy it seems. I have started my new job in Columbia and everything is going good there and I am also still at Baptist PRN. We have been up and going in Columbia for 3 weeks now. As a few people may alread know, I am looking at getting a new position in about 2 weeks. It is not a position that the hospital has so it is having to be approved to be created therefore that is why it will take a couple weeks but I will basically be the night time supervisor. I will be watching over both shifts of the week to make sure everything is running smoothly and checking all other techs off making sure everything is getting done and done right. I have said that this nice, quiet, shy girl is gonna have to learn to not be so quiet and shy. This will be a challenge to me since I am the type that just avoids confrontation but it will be my job so I am up for whatever changes it calls for. Please keep me and all these changes in your prayers that everything works out the way that we are all hoping it will. Like I said though it will probably be about 2 weeks and we will then know that everything will be good to go however from the sounds of things, the position will be approved.

We really have not been up to anything new. Just basically chilling as much as possible on our days off together.

Here are just a few pictures since it has been a while.
Bullet is such a little cuddler. He is so rotten.
He does so good with his commands. He was shaking daddys hand. He sits, stays, shakes, and high 5.

Heather brough Alli up to Baptist so everyone could see her, luckily it was one of the nights I was PRN so I got to see her. She fell asleep on me laying like a frog. She is just so precious.

Me and Trent are still trying so hopefully before long we will have us a little one.

Anywho, I reckon that is all for now. Maybe next time I wont wait so long to post.

Trentie the PO PO!!!

Here are the pictures of Trent and his shift that I said I would post once we got them.

Don't ya just love how Cops always think they have to look so serious!!!
Anyways, I reckon that is all. Just wanted to share them.

Nothing Much

The other day we took Bullet to the creek for the first time and he went nuts. He ran spastic everywhere. Sorry the pictures are so grainy, it was getting dark and my camera was being crazy.

Dont really know what he was looking at but It would have been a cute picture if Trent wasnt raising the stick right as I snapped the picture.

You can barely see but he was running out of the creek with a stick bringing it back to Trent.

Crazy dog found this huge stick and drug it around everywhere.

Nothing new going on with us. Trent and his shift at work had some pictures taken yesterday which I will post once we get them. Things have changed a little as far as my job goes. The 27th was supposed to be my last day at Baptist but as of today, that has changed to this Friday. I will be starting Columbia next week. On Monday, I go in that morning to meet everyone and go over policies and procedures blah blah blah and then on Tuesday and Wednesday we will actually start doing test studies so everyone can learn the system. Luckily the system is Alice which is what I trained on so I am familiar with it just have to learn how to do the reports on it. After that, starting the week of September 1st, I will be working Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is nice becuase on Saturdays, I will get paid an extra $2.50 and hour. This however, will not be my permenant schedule. What will happen is one month I work that schedule and then then next month it rotates and I will work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. That will be a nice schedule that way the same crew is not having to work every weekend but at the same time every other month you get the benefits of working Saturdays by getting paid extra.
I reckon that is all for now. Nothing nuch going on here just trying to stay busy.

Leap of Faith!!!

So some people on Facebook has been curious what my leap of faith is. I have been offered a full time job in Columbia at Maury Regional Hospital that I have accepted. I will be turning in my 2 week notice in the morning. It will be so nice to be able to get to work within 25 minutes instead of an hour and 5 to 10 minutes. This will cut about and hour and a half off of my drive a day. I will not know what to do with myself. My benefits will also be better there in Columbia and I will finally start me a retirement fund. Another extremely exciting thing is they give discounts on Lasix and when I was talking to Trent about it, he said he wanted me to have it done since my eyes are so terribly horrible. I cant wait. We will wait till after we atleast have our first child do to that affecting eye sight and may wait till we have both. I will just talk to the eye dr about it. Anywho, there is my Leap of Faith. I really feel at ease about it and think it will be a good change especially being so close to home and when we have a little one, that will help alot. This was a very hard decision to make since I love where I am at now but with all that going on right now we have decided that this will be a good move. I had actually turned the job down in the beginning but after getting more info had decided to take full time. My hopes are to stay here at Baptist PRN if all things go the way I plan. I guess we will just have to wait and see after I turn in my notice tomorrow.

Our "Little" Monster is doing good. Still spoiled as ever. The other day, we got him yet another bed thinking he has gotten a little older maybe he wont tear this one up. Yeah we were totally wrong. We woke up to this. Trent texted me this picture with the saying underneath it.

Wanted $500 reward black male goes by the name of Bullet aka Bully. Wanted by the LCSD for vandalism of a kennel bed. This male is spoiled, rotten, and dont fall for his sweet looking face. It will make you fall in love with him.

A while back I had posted that the groomer thought we should change his name to Angel cause he is so sweet. Well I took him yesterday to her and it took 6 hours so I was wondering what the heck could have been taking so long. When I got there to her, she said she had taken him on a long walk, fed him dinner and watered him, and just played with him. She just thought it was so sweet how he is such a big dog but so loving. She said he just laid at her feet and snuggled right up to her ankles. Yes he is very rotten and has to be right under everyones feet all the time. I am very thankful though that we take him to such a wonderful place that we know takes good care of him.

I dont really know of anything new to post at this time. We will be going through changes with the job and all so keep me in your prayers that it all works out well. I am sure it will but it is a little nerving since I am so secure where I am now.

Happy Early Birthday to Me!!!

I had a great weekend and I am so very Thankful for such great In-Laws and such a Wonderful Hubby. On Saturday night, my in laws took me out to eat at Chappareals (sp?) ( I love love love their rice) for my birthday since they will be in Hawaii on my Birthday. (yeah they are Lucky). By the way, today is their Anniversary. Happy Anniversary to them. I had decided that I did not want anything for my Birthday, I just wanted me and Trent to have a good weekend alone and go do some fun things together. I had not even told him this is what I wanted and we woke up Sunday to him asking if I wanted to go to the movies and other things also. So First of all we went to the movies then he took me to O' Charleys which I love for their 3 cheese shrimp dip, then after that we went to play putt putt. We used to go putt putting all the time but have not done it in forever so that was lots of fun. Of course, he beat me though. Then last night we came home and played some Tiger Woods golf on the playstation which we used to be addicted to but also have not done in a very long time. Me and my Trentie had such a wonderful weekend just the 2 of us. It was nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the weekend with him and not be constantly going and doing to the point to where we just have no time together.

Again, we have things going on that we need prayers for (same situation as the last post). We should find out more info tomorrow on the situation. Just wish me luck and Pray that we make the best decision in this situation. I am sure we will let everyone know what is going on before long especially once our mind is made up on this situation. Right now we just can't be too public about it not knowing who all sees the blog.

Anywho I just wanted to brag about how wonderful my weekend was. I hope everyone else is doing great as well.

Welcome Baby Alli-gator

My bestest friend Heather gave birth to her Beautiful baby girl today so I thought I would share some pictures and her birth info for everyone to see.

Alli Love Smith: AKA Baby Alli-Gator: Born 7-14-09 @ 7:37pm : 19 inches long: 6lb 14oz

Alli is so Precious. So far she seems to be a very peaceful baby. She never really cried just wimpered other than while the nurse was checking her vital signs. While we was there, she was looking all around.

Love this pictute. Mommy with Baby Alli. Heather looks great for her to have just given birth.

My and Baby Alli-Gator.

She had some huge feet. Everyone was amazed with how big her feet were.
CONGRATS BEN AND HEATHER. I know you both will be great parents.

On a side note, on our way home from Smyrna seeing baby Alli, our car quit on us twice. The check engine light came on and will not go off now. My car has over 109,000 miles now. I am really wondering if it ain't about time to trade it in. Not long ago we replaced the timing belt. Guess we will see what is wrong with it and go from there.
I also have some things that me and Trent is trying to make some decisions on. Some may know what I am talking about but I will not go into detail on here but please keep us in your prayers that we make the right choices in this situation.
Anywho, I hope everyone is doing great.

Bullet the Smart Dog

Just thought I would share a funny picture. I know it is not the best but it was on my cell phone. I was sitting at work tonight and Trent sent me this picture.

I just died laughing when I saw what it was. I called Trent and asked him what he was doing. He said he just saw my glasses sitting there so he wanted to try them on Bullet. Then he said we had a smart dog cause he was wearing glasses and looked smart in them. Yes I know, my hubby is crazy. Gotta love him.

Anyways, I don't think I ever blogged on it but we ended up taking Bullet to the vet with his diarrhea. The vet said it was a mixture between stress, nerves, and feeding him different food while we was gone. They gave him a shot and he ended up on 2 different medicines to settle his stomach and to get his bowel movements back like they should be. One was a pill so that was easy enough. We just put that in a hot dog like always but the other was liquid and we had to break hot dogs up and put the liquid on the hot dogs for him to take that. Boy that was tricky to get him taking that stuff cause he hated it. They weighed him while we was there and my hoss weighs a big 91.6 pounds. He still is not fat at all just all muscle.

Anyways, I reckon that is all. I just wanted to share the picture with everyone.

July 4th Weekend!!!

Hope everyone had a GREAT 4th. We had a Wonderful and very busy 4th. Friday we got up early and went to Manchester. Almost as soon as we got there, we went to the lake to ride intertubes and hang out with Uncle. We then came home and changed clothes, went back to the lake with mom, Uncle and Aunt Jet. We were there till 4am Saturday morning and did not get in bed till 6am and had to be up at 10am to leave to come back home. We were supposed to be at a cookout here at home around 12 but did not get there till about 2pm. Oh well atleast we made it in time to eat around 4:30. After the cookout, we went to the firework show in town. Afterwards, we just came home to relax and sleep. Here are just a few pictures that was taken over the weekend.

Just a pretty Lake and Sun picture.

Trent got to learn how to knee board over the weekend. I was nervous. July 3rd is not his day. Usually he stays in on that day. On July 3rd he got ran over by a lawn mower when he was younger than a few years ago, he got kidney stones on that day. Luckily this year, no harm was done.

Me and Trent riding the intertube. It was so much fun. We laughed the whole entire time we was on it. We looked and felt like bobble head dolls.

I dont know what it is about this picture, it is kinda just an abstract picture but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. It is little Colton playing in the lake.
Anywho, I reckon that is all for now. Will update more later.

Atlanta weekend and more

We had a great weekend in Atlanta. It was quick but very nice and much needed time away for me and the Trentie. Luckily I got called off work on Friday night which we thought was great cause I could sleep that night and drive Saturday since the both of us was supposed to work. Nope, no such luck. I could not sleep and only got an hour. Trent got off work and slept for 2 hours then he slept part of the way to Manchester while I drove then he took over the driving from there after meeting my parents. On the way to Atlanta we knew we were gonna try to go to the Aquarium once we got there but I suggested that we just try to make it to the Saturday game also. We got there at about the 3rd inning and bought tickets off a scalper and got to watch that game. Of course we won, on Saturday that is. Unfortunately we got beat on Sunday but I guess we gotta loose one every now and then. Lol. There record while we are at there games is 3 for 4. Not bad, cant complain. Here are some pictures from this weekend.

Me and my Trentie during Sunday game.

Me with mom and dad.

Me and my daddy were twins on Sunday for the game. As if we don't look just alike anyways we dressed alike.

Me, Trent and Colton during the game.

I must say I got the cutest little nephew ever. He always makes that face looking down when taking pictures. Silly boy.

Mom and dad before the game.

Me, Trentie, mom and dad. I love this picture.

Trent and Lele.

My wonderful inlaws. Ricky, Linda, and Leah.

The whole gang other than Trent's parents and sister. After the game Colton got to run bases and Trent's family left before we could get a whole group picture.
We got to see something that we never ever thought you would see in real life. It was top of the 9th inning Red Sox batting and we were making a come back. We were 1 strike away from the last out of the game and some idiot goes running across the field. He had about 6 security guards to tackle him. It was absolutely hilarious. Click the link below and you can see a you tube video of it. The video says it was a Red Sox fan but I am pretty sure it was a Braves fan trying to break up the streak that us Red Sox was on.

While we were gone we took Bullet to a place called Canine Solutions. It is a boarding place that we have heard lots of good things about. Bullet was in an indoor / outdoor kennel where he could stay in or out which ever he preferred but once it got really hot they would trap the outdoor part to where he had to stay in the cool air conditioned air. He also had his own large fenced in area to go run around in 3 times a day and got to go on a nature hike. This place has lots of land. Anywho, I didn't want to drop him off anyways. I felt like a crazy over bearing mother cause I did not want to leave him but I knew they would take care of him. We went to pick him up Monday and they said he done great. We got him home and he acted fine. Me and Trent went to Fayetteville to watch one of his co workers little boy play in an all star game and was gone for a few hours and when we got home before even opening the utility room door from the garage there was an overwhelming smell of poop. I opened the door and literally about got sick to my stomach it was so bad, rounded the corner and Bullet had the biggest mess ever all in his cage and on the floor. Apparently while we were gone, Bullet had gotten Diarrhea but it was bad. Real bad. We had to totally take his kennel outside to clean it with water hose and also give Bullet a bath. While Trent was outside doing all that, I was inside with all the windows raised, spraying the house with numerous things to try to get rid of the smell and sweeping and mopping Bullet room. He ended up throwing up outside once we got him out and had a little more diarrhea. We called the vet today and they think it was just stress and nerves from him being boarded but told us to take his food for 24 hours and see how he does and if no change then bring him in. We are watching him closely today. He seems ok, he is laying around a lot but does have spurts of hyperness. I guess we will see how he does when he eats a little later. My poor Bullet. Yes he is our problem child but it literally broke my heart to see he was that sick. I honestly felt bad for leaving the house and him being all alone. I felt like a mother neglecting her child because I am sure he was barking wanting to go outside. He doesn't use the bathroom in the house much less his Kennel. I sure hope he is not sick and picked something up from the Boarding place.
We have another very busy weekend ahead. Me and Trent both work Wednesday and Thursday and Friday we will be going to Manchester. Uncle is coming in so we can't wait to get to see him. We never get to spend time with him so it will be nice to see them. He is bringing up his boat so we may get to go to the lake with him. Unfortunately our trip to Manchester will be cut very short because for about 2 months now we have already had plans to have a Shift get together with Trent shift at work and that is on Saturday. I am looking forward to that. Should be a good time to meet more of the cops wives and their families that I haven't met yet. Sunday we have possible plans to hang out with Ashley and Bradley. We have not got to hang out with them in a long time due to Bradley being in California and training for Iraq. So Wednesday through Sunday is gonna be go, go, go for us.
Anywho, I reckon that all for now. I am sure I will post more after the weekend. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July.
