Happy Late Thanksgiving

Let me start off by saying I woke up Thursday morning and told My hubby that I was so very Thankful for him and also for being able to have such a nice house for being so young. I thank God everyday for allowing us to be so fortunate to have what we do. We had a great Thanksgiving and hopes everyone else did too. It all started on Wednesday night. Me and Trent went out to eat with Bradley, Ashley, Jamie, and Emily and had a great time. It was really good to see Jamie and Emily cause we had not seen them in a while. After leaving there, Bradley and Ashley came back to our house and we just hung out with my mom (dad was already in bed). After they left around 12:30, me and mom went to WalMart and done all the shopping for our food for Thursday. We got home and went to bed. Woke up Thursday and forgot something at store so had to run back out. We got back home and got busy cooking while me and Trent were also trying to clean. Finally around 6:00 we got to relax and start eating with the family. We had my parents, Trent's parents and sister, and us over. It ended up being a huge meal and very nice. We had so much food we did not know what to do with it all. We had Ham, Turkey, dressing, okra, corn on cob, mashed potatoes, red potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs, rolls, giblet gravy, broccoli and rice casserole (maybe I didn't leave anything out) and last but not least, for desert we had, Watergate salad, pecan pie and a Pumpkin roll. Everything was so good and I was so Thankful to be able to spend it with the family and being able to do it in our Home was the best. Thursday night or I guess you could say Friday morning at 12:00, me and Trent went out to look at TV and make the final decision if we wanted to get one. We finally left WalMart and got back home around 1:00am. Trent watched a movie and we headed back to WalMart around 3:15 to get in line for what we wanted. Trent ended up being 3rd in line for the TV and I was first in line for a portable DVD player and after I got that, I ran to the toys to pick something up for mom for Colton. Sale started at 5 and by 5:15 we had already checked out and had everything loaded up in the car. We walked out and Trent jaw about hit the ground. He had never been to one of these before so he did not realize how crazy it was and would not believe me when I tried to explain to him how crazy it was. The WalMart parking lot was maxed out with every isle backed up to the very last parking spot. He says he hopes he will never ever ever have to go through a mad house like that again. We actually went back in and met up with Ashley and Bradley and I got a new Camera also. I was much over due for a new camera, my old one was a major piece of crap. After going back in, we did not get home until about 7:30 and of course Trent could not live without putting up his new TV. He finally got in bed a little after 8 and then had to get up and get ready for work. Mom and dad did not leave until Saturday morning and I had a great time with them. I was so very thankful that they were able to come up and actually spend 3 night with us. Here are a few pictures.

here is my little last minute table set up for our dinner. We ran to the dollar general, yes dollar general and found this stuff. I thought it was really cute. I don't think you can tell in this picture but the green table cloth has little leaves imprinted on it. Very cute and pretty. And of course you can see the runner, it is just really fall looking but the little things on the table was super cute. They were cute little boy and girl scarecrows and a glass pumpkin in the middle.

here is our new TV. It is very nice. We love it. Definitely more fun to play Wii on the bigger TV. We were used to a 27inch plain jane old TV now we have upgraded not only to a 42inch but to a LCD flat screen. Trent wanted a 50inch but I definitely think this was good enough.

Now we are getting ready for Christmas and we are officially done shopping. Thank God. After a new living room suite, TV, and all the Christmas shopping, we feel like some poor folk. This is our tree with all the gifts except for about 7 of them of which I have not gotten in yet. I had ordered them at a party and have not got them back yet however they are already bought and paid for.

We also took some Christmas pictures on Thursday after eating. Here is just one of them we took. I thought it was cute. We are holding our big ol' baby.

Christmas Time

It is Officially Christmas time in the Haddock's house. I love love love this time of year. I went Christmas shopping the other night and the mall had some Christmas music playing and I had to come home and put my tree up.

This is our first year in our home as a married couple. For the last two years, we have had a PoPo tree. Our ornamants are cop themed and then we also just have solid red, blue, white and silver ornaments on it. Our tree skirt was a gift given to us last year by my Aunt who made it for us. She made it the colors of our living room.

This picture is a little dark but we all three have stockings with our names on it. Bullet stocking is bigger than ours. Go figure.

Time to get in shape.

So today, me and Ashley went and joined Harveys Gym. Since Trent is the PoPo, we got a discount. Me and Ashley started our work out process today and has already scheduled 3 more appointments to go back. We only have to have appointments to meet with our Personall Trainer but we do plan to go 3 to 4 times a week. I really hope this helps me and being able to go with someone will definately keep me motivated. Trent is also on this membership so if I don't have Ashley to go with me for whatever reason, I will atleast have Trent. I also love this place becuase they are open 24/7 to their members which have an ID and are fingerprinted or doors will not open. After we worked out, we went to Cool Springs and went shopping and done some more Christmas. Almost done, no much longer.

Just thought I would post this picture. I know, sucky background but oh well. This was before we went shopping. I am so thankful that God has put Ashley and Bradley into our lives. It is making me realize Lawrenceburg really isn't so bad, I just needed to meet some people and quit being so shy. It is absolutely wonderful to be able to have someone my age and someone that I can relate to so well here. It is amazing how alike and how many things our families have in common.

Kendra had been telling me just how wonderful her makeup is and how she would recommend it to anyone. As I was talking to her about this, Ashley says yeah I wear that makeup. Well Ashley makeup never looks bad and Kendra so highly recommended it so of course what did I do? Went and spent way too much money but I ordered some myself. I was talking to Leah last night and she had informed me that she also wears it and hers never looks bad either. Well, I just got it in today and of course immediately had to try it on. Please excuse the hair, busy, crazy day and no time to fix it but here is the testing of my new make up. I love love love it. You can most definitely see it better in person but it definately looks better than no makeup and looks better than the old cheap stuff too. I also noticed that it hides the freckles. I love that. Trent loves the new makeup however he hated it at the wedding because he thought I was darker than him so now is jelous because he says once again I look darker than him. The makeup has what is called Warmth which helps to give you a tanner look.

Bullet was laying on his chair and I was extremely tired so I decided to lay down and cuddle with him. I love this dog.

He decided he would just get comfy himself and lay on my chest. He is so darn rotten but that could be because I treat him just like a child.

We gave him a bath before we went to Manchester this weekend and I finally realized how Trent bathes Bullet outside. He ties him up with his leash to the front of his patrol car. Poor baby. He was looking at me as if he was saying "Please help me mommy, daddy is torturing me."

Here we are right after decorating Aunt Joyce's car. We hung streamers, tied cans, and wrote on the windows. We did not have enough time to take pictures of this and after I post the rest of these pics I will explain why. But here it is a dark picture and if ya can't tell, we are all holding our fingers over our mouth like ssshhhhhhhhh be very very quiet.

After doing the car, we went around town, stole some signs and put them in her yard. Yes they are busted in action. Well not really cause I took the picture but they later knew who it was, stayed tuned for the last picture to find out how.

K here is the explanations I told you to wait for. We had a blast doing all of this. We parked down the road and ran up to her house and done all of this and ran back to the vehicle and drove off. While we were doing all of this, their bedroom light was on. As we were driving off, we decided to honk the horn and roll down the windows and scream to the top of our lungs, that is how they knew who we were. Yeah we are dummies. Well after we drove off, we forgot we did not even get pictures so we were stupid enough to turn around park the car yet again, sneak back up there and get the picture with our finger over our mouth. That is all we had time for then ran back off. Oh yeah and when we went back this time we had to be extremely sneaky because we had already honked and yelled and then as we were pulling back up down the road we saw all the lights go off. Yes we are sneaky sneaky because after we left from taking pictures, we still returned back to the house 3 more times to put the signs in the yard. Yeah we are trouble what can we say.

K this is the last picture for the blog but absolutely had to post it. This baby is B-E-A-U-tiful. I love this baby way too much. I could only hope mine is this precious. Love love love this girl.

Just an update

This weekend went well. Aunt Joyce looked B-E-A-Utiful and her wedding was Gorgeous. I was so happy to see that she was having the big wedding thing with the nice reception and everything. It was absolutely perfect for her. After the wedding, no one got her car so several of the grandkids including her kids, went to her house that night and got the car. Not only did we get the car, we done some things to the yard. I dont have those pics yet but once I get them, I will post them. We originally wrote one the car, tied cans to the car and also streamers. We parked down the road and then ran back to the car. It was a blast. Once we started driving away, we honked, rolled down the windows and then yelled. It was hillarious. After that, we decided to steal some signs to put in the yard and that in itself was way too funny for words. We got video of it and died laughing while watching it. Her new name is Huddleston so we got a Huddle house, now open, construction cone, and a Sold sign and put in her yard. Good times, good times, gotta love it. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Me and Trent have been doing great. No complaints. Well not really atleast. I got my test resulsts in on Friday and I failed my test by 2 points. Yes thats right I said ONLY 2 points it makes me sick. I had better pass it this next itme especially since I was only 2 points this time and this will be my 3rd time taking it. Yuck.

I think we have finally decided what we are doing for our anniversary. Our anniversary and Ashley and Bradleys is only 2 weeks apart so I think we are going to take a trip together and go to Florida together. Should be lots of fun all of us together. We will obviously have our own rooms so that we can have our own time and also be able to go out together with them too.

We are so ready for the Holidays. I can't wait for my family to come up for Thanksgiving so both of our families can get together and I also can't wait for Christmas. I am proud to say that I am done with our Christmas shopping except for 4 people and those should not be any big deal. Thanks to Ashley and her party she threw the other night, I got basically everything done there and we had also went shopping the day before and I got the rest of the stuff then. Not much more thank god cause we ain't got much longer.

Bullet the Moose

Well about 4 o'clock this morning I found yet another spot on Bullet under his arm. This one looked fluid filled and swollen. Of course I called the vet and took him. We walked in the door and the woman immediately said THAT IS NOT BULLET and I said yeap it is Bullet. She could not believe it. She really thought we got another one. She said oh my gosh he is a moose. Well of course I had been thinking he was getting bigger but I thought well I am just around him so much I did not notice the huge difference. We got back in the room and they weighed him and oh my gosh. On October 6th, he weighed 44 pounds. Today he weighed 59 pounds. Therefore, he has gained 15 pounds in 1 month and 4 days. Holy cow wow. Since he went last time, we had changed his food to Purina Beneful Healthy Growth for Puppies and obviously he is liking that food alot more than what he had before. Since he is actually eating with this food, we are switching him to the Beneful Healthy Weight for adult dogs with the next bag we have to buy. Anyways, they decided to do a skin scrape to make sure nothing else was going on other than allergies such as possible mange due to other dogs not getting out of our yard (that would be Bullets brother and the other 8 year old lab next door). Thank god the skin scrape came back normal and yet again it is just allergies. My poor dog is now back on Cortisone spray, antibiotics, and benedryl. On top of that, he has started allergy shots today. Hopefully these will help him and we will not have as many problems. The vet said that he will not give them every month due to it causing internal problems to dogs giving it too much but it would be perfectly fine to give them about 3 times a year. We will just watch Bullet and see for how long this shot helps him and go from there how often we actually give it to him. So on a normal everyday basis, Bullet will be taking Benedryl and the allergy shots every few months for the rest of his life. He will only be on antibiotics and the cortisone spray when he has these god awful spots popping up on him.

We will also be taking him within the next month or two and have him fixed. My poor baby can not stay out of the vets office. Oh well we gotta love him anyways.

I reckon that all for now just wanted to let everyone know about the baby.

I got home from Manchester and surprised Trent. I called him when I was 15 minutes away from home and told him that I still had not left Manchester yet but would be leaving within 30 minutes therefore I would be home in about 2 hours. I went to Manchester for a Bachelorette dinner for my Aunt. She is getting married next weekend and I am so excited for her. Anyways once I got home I just got the urge to take a picture of us and this is what turned out and I just thought mom would love it. haha

He such a sweet baby. Gotta love him. We love it when he sits like this. Looks just like a little human.

Since we have had the new furniture and he is learning this is his seat, for some reason sometimes he sits like this. He has his back legs laying on the chair but his front legs on the ground holding up his body. He is crazy.

When I got home it looked like he has grown and I am just now noticing it. I asked Trent and he agreed. He said he had been thinking that too. As of the 17th of this month, he will be 6 months. He just a big ol' baby.

Here ya go mom, I just wanted to tease you. When I took the bad one, I told Trent we had to retake it and hopefully not cut our heads off this time and luckily enough it turned out good.

As for me and Trent, we are doing well. We got alot going on but doing alright. Trent shift at work has now changed for no good reason which we are not happy about at all but what can we do about it. Absolutely nothing so why complain right? The only good thing about his shift changing is that, now he will be off on Thanksgiving and also Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It really sucks because him and Bradley have gotten so close and now, they will never have not even 1 day off together so he is really bummed out about that. After Bradley gets out of the academy and starts his regular shift, they will not get to do anything together anymore. However, I am doing well and can't complain. I am so very excited because the next few weekends will be nothing but lots and lots of family time. Of course I was in Manchester this weekend due to the Bachelorette dinner and next weekend is the wedding so me and Trent will be going back then. I cant wait becuase the weekend after that, Mom and Dad and possible Amber and Jack will be coming up to stay with me and Trent. Me and mom plan on getting Christmas shopping started and I am hoping to get it done that weekend. And then, on Thanksgiving, me and Trent are gonna have our parents and his sister over to our house and we will have supper here Thanksgiving night and my parents will be spending the night that night too. Well I guess enough of the blah blah blah and I will post again some other time

New Living Room

Here is our New living room furniture. For some reason these pictures seem to be a little blurry and dark but I guess they show it good enough. When we bought it, we did not realize that this suite was so much bigger than our old one. This one definately fills our living room up.

Here is the whole set. We love it. It is the Microfiber and it is a chocolate color. We didn't think we needed a light tan becuase of Bullet.

and the Chaise lounge and loveseat. Yes the chaise lounge is the brown microfiber but we have it covered with a sheet. Once we got the new furniture Trent all of a sudden decides he doesn't want Bullet getting on it. Well sine Bullet has been trained for 5 months now that he can, we can't just stop him from it now. We have covered that and trying to train him that this is his chair and we keep it covered so that it does not get ruined or anything. The main reason Trent does not want Bullet on it is because of his nose running, you can see the dried snot on it, and also, if he is on it chewing on a toy, you can see dried slobber so that is why it is covered. But I still dont think it looks bad with that on it.

Quick update on life.

Me and Trent had a great get together this weekend with some 4 wheeling following the next day. It was absolutely great getting to hang out with everyone. I have posted seperate blogs on the 2 events that happened this weekend so keep a scrolling and you can see our weekend adventures.

I said I was gonna post pics of our new living room suit but have not taken any pics of that yet. Hopefully those will come tomorrow. If not, then hopefully sometime within the next few days. However, it looks great in our living room and we love it.

I failed my test. Yes, yet again, I failed it. I have spoke to the boss at work and he is trying to get some info up for me to help me on my weaknesses and he also made the comment that the part that I am failing is the stuff that is pretty much just a lab but lab protocol so it does not have alot of stuff out there. He is trying to find study material and / or a siminar for me to go to to help me out. He also said that I have passed the hardest part of the test so if I can just find the info on my weaknesses, I just might be ok this next go around. I plan on taking it in March so PLEASE, I need tons of prayers.

All in all, things are going great around here. Not a whole lot to update on but figured I should mainly let everyone know about the test.

Wheelin in the Country

Several of us got together and went 4 wheeling today after the party last night and had a great weekend all together. We only live about 2 miles from the 4 wheeling place so we all just left from our house and rode down there instead of loading up on a trailer. I had a blast 4 wheeling since I had not been in so long and I absolutely CAN NOT wait to go again. Here are some fun pics from 4 wheeling today.

Me and Trent were so happy that Kendra and AJ were able to come up and enjoy all the fun with us this weekend. It was definately great for me to be able to have family here with me. We had so much fun together and absolutely can not wait for us all to get together again real soon for some more fun.

Costume Party

Well our costume party went great. We had a blast and a great turn out. There was about 20 people here. I got to meet some new people whom I liked alot, spend time with family (Kendra, Leah and might as well say AJ), and friends of whom I had previously met. We were not to sure how well people would participate in the dressing up but almost everyone did. It was great. We had a Costume Contest and that was fun also. We just sat around and hung out, ate, sat by the fire, rode 4 wheeler for just a few minutes in the yard, and played some wii and guitar hero. Here are some pictures of the event.
