Vacation, Life & MONSTER was defeated.

This blog is extremely lengthy with lots of pictures. I will give brief explanations of the pictures. This blog will sum up our entire trip and our current life right now.

The first day we were there, we finally landed and went to motel. After that we toured Fenway Park home of the Red Sox, went to China town and Boston Commons (Bostons oldest park). After that, we basically just went back to motel and relaxed. I have already posted pictures on that in a previous blog so will not do those again.

Day 2. Rode a trolley through the town and then went on a Cruise to see Boston Skyline and other things. Went to aquarium, Copps Hill Burrying Ground (nothing interesting), Old North Church, Paul Revere House, TD Banknorth, Sports Museum, and the Friday night game.

The penguins was about the only interesting thing at the aquarium. We thought this one was supposed to be good but basically, it sucked.

Old North Churh. This is where Paul Revere Hung the 2 lanterns in the steeple which touched off the War for Independence.

This is downtown Boston's oldest building. Paul Revere owned this home from 1770 to 1800.

This is where the Hockey team Boston Bruins and the Basketball team Boston Celtics play. They also have a Sports Museum inside there which we went through.

I have already posted some pictures from the Friday night game but here is another one. This is my man Lester. He is the 25 year old Cancer Survivor.

Day 3. We visited Bunker Hill, USS Cassin Young, USS Constitution, Harvard and the Museum, MIT and the Museum, and Cheers.

Bunker Hill Monument. Looks alot like the Washington Monument.

We got to walk to the very top which was 294 steps up and 294 steps down. It was a major killer especially since our legs had been killing us from all the walking anyways. It had great views from the top of it. This picture is us having to take a break before walking back down.

USS Cassin Young. A battle ship on the Boston Harbor.

USS Constitution on the Boston Harbor. Oldest Commissioned Warship still afloat. Fought battles in the War of 1812.

One of the Many big buildings at Harvard.

Not too many way interesting things in the Harvard Museum. We liked the dinosaur bones. Especially since Trent was in love with them when he was younger.

Here is MIT Mass. Institute of Technology.

That museum was pretty interesting with all the Robots and stuff like that. This is Kismet. He reads body gestures and things such as that. He makes about 15 different facial expressions. If you yell at him and scold him, he will make an upset face. Pretty neat.

This is the original Cheers where the show was taped. We sat in there on Saturday night and watched the 2nd RedSox game of the series.

Just me in front of the door.

Old State House. This balcony is where the Declaration of Independence was first read in 1776.

This round Cobblestone circle just represents where the Boston Massacre took place. This is the exact spot.

Old South Meeting House. This is where the Boston Tea party was started.

Grannary Burrying Ground. Walked around in here and saw some of the different people listed here.

Yeppers, we bought some tickets from a Scalper and also got to attend the last game of the Series.

This is just right before Jacoby Ellsbury STOLE HOME. I can't believe we witnessed this in person. It was amazing.

All the guys giving each other 5. We actually got to witness the 1 and 3 game of the series and OUR RED SOX SWEPT THE YANKEES. It was absolutely the greatest.

Anywho, that pretty much sums up our trip. It was absolutely amazing and we will definitely return to Boston. It will be several years due to it being so expensive but let it be known, we will return. Usually you are ready to get home from vacation and we so were not. I sat on the window seal at the motel and cried as we were packing up. I totally did not want to leave Other than to see our little Bullet. We definitely missed him.

More greatness has happened since returning home. I PASSED MY TEST. THE MONSTER HAS BEEN DEFEATED. OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. A raise is in store for me. I am officially an RPSGT.

Trent has been asked to help coach a 9 year old Baseball team. This is so great. He is defiantly following his daddys footsteps. I can't wait to go watch my baby coach and watch the little kiddos. That is gonna be so much fun for Trent and I am so proud of him.

Cruise. hmm. Not so sure about it right now. Since the swine flu, as of now Carnival not going to Mexico. I would say this is a good thing though. We will see where we end up going. I think they will reroute our trip somewhere else. Who knows what is going on with that.

I reckon this post is long enough so I will end it now. Hope everyone has been doing as GREAT as the Haddocks.
